"Not Every Prophecy Belongs on Camera" — Popular Gospel Singer AdaZion IJ Urges Prophets to Exercise Discretion"

Popular gospel singer AdaZion IJ has called on prophets and prophetesses to exercise wisdom and discretion when delivering prophecies, especially those involving sensitive personal matters.


According to the singer, while prophecy remains an important spiritual gift, not every revelation should be broadcast before cameras or shared on social media simply to demonstrate prophetic ability. She advised that deeply personal prophecies should instead be communicated privately through one-on-one counselling or in a confidential setting, in order to protect the dignity and future of those involved.


AdaZion IJ noted that publicizing certain prophecies could have lasting consequences, particularly for young people. She expressed concern that a young unmarried woman, for instance, could face stigma or difficulties in the future if intimate details of her life are permanently available online.


She therefore appealed to ministers of God to prioritize love, wisdom and confidentiality, stressing that the purpose of prophecy is to edify, guide and restore—not to expose people to public embarrassment. She urged prophets to remember that protecting the privacy of those they minister to is just as important as delivering the message itself.
