In a heartwarming celebration of love and community, Dr. Chioma Awuzie, Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko, has marked Valentine's Day with a unique gesture, awarding scholarships to outstanding students and promoting a message of love, unity, and balance in life.

The maiden edition of the Valentine's celebration, held at the Polytechnic Convocation Arena, brought together management, staff, and students, and featured a lively mix of pageantry, music, and fun activities.

In her address, Dr. Awuzie emphasized the importance of balancing academic pursuits with social life, sharing her own experiences as a former beauty pageant winner. "Giving out is love, we are here today for Valentine's show because all work and no play makes jack a dull boy," she said, encouraging students to prioritize their well-being and relationships.

The Rector presented scholarships to Ofia Perpetual Njideka, a Public Administration student and member of the female football team, in recognition of her achievements. The event also featured the crowning of Miss Valentine Ezumezu Miracle and Mr. Valentine Victor Obiefuna, who received prizes and gifts.

Comr. Asomugha, Director of Student Affairs, praised the Rector's initiative, saying, "The rector's good works have filled our hearts with love and gratitude. We wish everyone love in all endeavors."

The Valentine's celebration was a resounding success, filled with love, fun, and activities that brought the Fed Poly Oko Community together.
