Rector Dr. Chioma Awuzie Honors Outstanding Student Leaders at Carol of Nine Lessons — Former SUG President Odumegwu Chinaecherem Emmanuel Wins “Outstanding Student Union Leadership Award

During the recent “Carol of Nine Lessons” ceremony at Federal Polytechnic Oko, Rector Dr. Chioma Awuzie presented awards to staff and students who excelled in various areas. The highlight was the Outstanding Student Union Leadership Team Award, which went to Odumegwu Chinaecherem Emmanuel, the former SUG president.
Dr. Chioma Awuzie praised Emmanuel, declaring him the _best SUG president_ she has worked with, noting that his leadership has made administrative duties smoother for the institution.
Chinaecherem Emmanuel, in his acceptance speech, thanked the rector for her “wonderful works” and revealed that she regularly calls him to gauge student concerns.
He urged the newly elected SUG officials to remain calm and collaborate closely with the rector to drive the polytechnic forward.
The ceremony underscored Dr. Chioma Awuzie’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent within the polytechnic community, aligning with her broader vision of fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
