FR. EBUBE MUONSO SUSTAINS FOUR-YEAR CHARITY PROGRAMME, SUPPORTS OVER 300 ELDERLY PERSONS MONTHLY

Popular Catholic priest and Spiritual Director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, widely known as Fr. Ebube Muonso, has continued his remarkable humanitarian outreach by providing monthly financial support and bags of rice to more than 300 elderly persons in Nkwelle Ezunaka, Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The beneficiaries, most of whom are aged 70 years and above, received their monthly stipends alongside bags of rice as part of a welfare programme that has been running consistently for nearly four years.
Speaking during the latest distribution exercise, Fr. Ebube Muonso described the initiative as a personal commitment to caring for the elderly, whom he said deserve love, dignity, respect, and support for their contributions to society.
According to the cleric, the programme will continue for as long as God grants him the grace and resources to serve humanity. He encouraged young people to cultivate the habit of honouring and caring for older members of society, stressing that respect for elders attracts divine blessings and helps preserve moral values.
In further demonstration of his commitment to humanitarian service, Fr. Ebube Muonso announced plans for a major medical outreach next week. The outreach is expected to cover hospital bills for patients in selected hospitals, with an estimated cost of about ₦50 million.
The elderly beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation for the priest's generosity, offering prayers for God's continued protection, strength, and blessings upon his ministry.
Over the years, Fr. Ebube Muonso has remained consistent in extending support to the less privileged, making a significant impact on the lives of hundreds of families through his charitable and faith-driven initiatives.
