DIVINE RAYS BRITISH SCHOOL HOLDS COLOURFUL INTER-HOUSE SPORTS IN ONITSHA

It was a vibrant display of athleticism, unity, and youthful excellence in Onitsha as Divine Rays British School, owned by renowned Catholic priest Fr. Ebube Muonso, successfully hosted its much-anticipated Inter-House Sports competition.


The event, held at Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium, brought together pupils, parents, and well-wishers in a lively atmosphere filled with excitement and healthy competition.


Students from the four houses — Yellow, Green, Red, and Blue — competed in various track and field events, showcasing remarkable talent, discipline, and sportsmanship. 


The colorful outing reflected not only physical excellence but also teamwork and unity among the students.


Speaking at the event, Fr. Ebube Muonso expressed deep appreciation to parents, staff, and invited guests for their support and presence. He emphasized the importance of holistic education, urging parents to remain committed to providing quality education for their children, which he described as a foundation for a brighter future.


The Inter-House Sports event ended on a high note, leaving lasting memories for participants and reinforcing the school’s commitment to academic and extracurricular excellence.


Personalities from different creeds were there including the commissioner for sports Anambra state.
